ATM Ettiquette

If you pull up to an ATM machine and there are others behind you, you really only have two choices. You could either quickly withdraw some money or move along. Why do some people think that a drive up ATM is there for ALL of their banking needs? Why do banks enable these machines to do anything but withdrawl? It is rude to be sitting there moving money around, taking 5 minutes to fill out and make a fricken deposit, while the line grows n grows. If you have to do a balance inquiry, you probably shouldn't be withdrawing money. Just snap up $20 and go.

I just had a problem at the CEFCU ATM the other day. The drive up one where for some reason it is OK to walk up and stand in line with the cars. That alone pissed me off but what really got me was the car in front of me stopped and on the other side rear door, a passenger got out and walked around the car and started to use the ATM. Not the driver, but the rear seat passenger. When she finally finished, she offered up the machine to the two "idiots" standing in line behind the rest of us. They moved up and while the car stayed there, they too used the machine. Well, that was too much for me and I pointed out there is a WALK UP ATM over on the other side of Campustown. Well that didn't sit well with the girl in the back seat. She went off like a loaded gun swearing and yelling. I just left. I figure you can't fix stupid. Idiots 1 Me 0
